„automotive-bw“ is a statewide network for the automotive industry.
It was created by the Ministry of Economics of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg and is now run as a project of the RKW Baden-Wuerttemberg. On the 1st of July 2010, the Network, which is promoted and supported by the European Fund for Regional Development and by the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, was officially launched in Stuttgart's New Castle.
„automotive-bw“ is a collaboration of eight regional automotive networks, including the “Automotive-Initiative Ostwuerttemberg”, founded by WiRO. They create beneficial offers for the industry – particularly for small and medium-size businesses. „automotive-bw“ constitutes a representative cross-section of automotive manufacturers and suppliers, regional networks and competence centers, universities and research institutions working in the automotive field, as well as, other supporting organizations.
With its “Automotive-Initiative Ostwuerttemberg”, WiRO is involved in this statewide network in order to interconnect the regional actors in the automotive field and initiate supraregional cooperation projects.
